@jman0war said: Thanks. I used to use BlueBeam Revu years ago, mostly for the one click PDF conversion and a few Markup tools. Looks like they've added functionality. I only have the viewer but it's great to get dims off of PDFs. It'd be nice to be able to bring vector PDFs into SU (like I can in AutoCAD) but maybe one day. Good luck Glenn

Another option would be to turn off Shadows On Ground. [image: JyZR_Screenshot-2_9_20213_45_09PM.png] [image: gaHd_Screenshot-2_9_20213_45_21PM.png]

To figure it out, you might draw it? Not sure what would be the "side" elevation in your case. You're right about the pitch. Use the protractor along the eave line, type 4:12, and make an angled guideline. Draw or pull the ridge line up to the guideline. Alternately you can figure how high the ridge would be by multiplication. If the building is 20' wide, then the ridge is 40" higher than the eave, (assuming it's a typical gable or hip roof)

Nice indeed. It might be that all the lines were drawn in post but you could make a sketchy line style that is similar and also make tree components that look like those.

Most likely you would need Artisan (this is what comes in my mind now) which is a commercial plugin. http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34868 [image: oGsm_1.jpg]
