Hi. Thank you for the comments. I have developed a special liking for black background. It gives lesser strain to the eyes. I have changed the back ground of my word documents to black. Initially I used white text on black. With a lot of text, it also was giving strain. Now I changed the text to 20% grey. It looks perfect. But has to be careful while taking print outs.
It is a good idea to give various textures and colors to indicate different stress levels. Will try it soon.
Thanks.
Actually, it is a dream project. I saw the water materials in the rendering program and wanted to test it. I also wanted to draw a lawn in the shape of a small hill.
The sketchup plugins such as Curviloft and Perpendicular faces are very helpful to make complicated models very easily. My many thanks to all the sketchucation team.
Mine doesn't slow down ever, there was one time I tried to load 20 floors of fully furnished apartments into a high-rise and it froze for 5 minutes but the floors loaded and rendered after the freeze.
Thank you very much for the suggestions. I really like the techniques given in the site posted by unrealviz. I must also try the various assorted styles inside sketchup as suggested by Adorno. I also like the view point suggested by pbacot. It gives a better view of the building. I hope to make the corrected image soon and come back here and post it. It would be better to hear all opinions before taking the drawings to the clients.
Well, you could argue that each step is big enough to serve as a landing, since two feet and a walking cane easily fit on each of them, so old people can take that rest.
I tried to upload the file here and also at the 3D warehouse. But it is taking a lot of time and also I cannot be sure if it is fully uploading or not mainly because there is no progress bar showing the progress of upload. so I am posting a new link. http://www.4shared.com/file/218831844/7b0b0912/contour_trial1.html I hope this will work.
Thankyou.
