Sorry for dummy questions... I do not know how to extend our trim fast in SU. In autocad there is special tool for that.

What if we have spline shape our something not straight, its not possible to extend with straight line in these cases,... what if use some kind of command like in autocad "extend"

Our something like SU plugin "smart push pull" which push surface and follows shape direction. So would be nice to have something what extends our pushes simple line in same shape direction..

Another dummy question from me.
How to make offset in full length. When I use native tool it makes nice offset but I would like to keep full line length on top... see an example image attached. Lets say its a vase profile.

How did you create the hole in the first place? How wide is it? Probably the most expedient thing to do is make a copy of the component, scale the copy up by a factor of 100 or so, turn on Hidden Geometry and stitch the gap closed by continuing the horizontal lines to the end. Soften the edges as needed. Close the component and delete it leaving the original one all fixed.

I made follow me tool to place profile on edge. So it made some deformations afterwards.
I am searching right now the best tool to use for adding different profiles to edges, similar to "Round Corner", which could quickly add any profile shape I want along a curved edge.

Is there any nice tool to attach profile to edge. More less simple way like its with ROUND CORNER plug in.
Idea is that if I have specific profile to be milled on wood detail edges I need to use follow me tool to get what I want... would be much better to have some tool with simple click on desired profile and then assign it to desired edge.

Like everyone knows vector our hybrid modes takes long time .... but i have such problem... Imagine finished project on 20 pages all in vector and Hybrid modes. And now i need to change one detail in SU and make it apply in layout. these means that I will lost many hours while it will update these all in layout again cause of these vector and Hybrid style scenes. Is there anything you suggest...?

p.s.

its finished presentation that's why its in hybrid mode. I know that simple Raster mode is fast.

Its nice that it counts pages in tray window, but it would be so nice to have variable to count pages in layout frame automatically as well, I still need to fill it manually.

Look how I do these with TIG section cut and then with Hatchfacer.rb

Its wery timefull to put hatch on every surface manyally step by step... would like to have hatch on it automatically on all surfaces at once.
(no problem for small objects, but fur big ones... eh too much waste of time)

Is there a fast chance to crop scaled viewports in layout. I want these "box" around my image to be small with one button click. Othervise I waste time to scale them smaller when I need it .... images attached.

What I know is that to use these pattarns I must draw in layout. And then its very timefull. I must open plann in layout and then draw on top of it new plan ant then I can use patterns.... is that right???? maybe I do not know ..?

Then Snap. If I want to snap nice somewhere its a huge risk I will snap in wrong place. On big plann risk is mall, but on small furniture details ets... its big. When I place dimensions in SU, I can zoom wery close snap dimention then return back save csene with dimentions ( i usually make several scenes- one side view, one top..etc) Then I open these scenes and make Hybrid render.

I make all section cuts also in SU too. Maybe I can send you some SU file... you will see how I do these and maybe will help to fin better ways. But I work these way already 3 years... final result is nice.. but I wouuld like to do it right way of course

1. I cant snap on layout precisely (our I do not know how). Especially for small details.
2. I do not know how to put on new patterns. BAsically I need to redraw all contours to use patterns from layout.

If I could ... I would be happy to do these in Layout.

I think its some programm failure...? these problem is on all side views in Hibrid mode...strange... I tried to contact them but no feedback...? I just get some feedback request on my mail for maintenece support quality which I have not received..? strange... maybe they do not send answers back to e-mail and maybe I should look for answers on some specifix web page..?
