I am trying to draw a parallel ruler but cannot find a way to squash the parallelogram. I tried using the scale tool but this only reduces the sizes

I have downloaded SU16 At first I got the lady But now it opens straight away in plan view with no horizon. How can I find the lady?

Proper Animation is a terrific tool but whenever I try to save my efforts I find it reverts to only showing the last scene. I don't want to export. Just to save it to my Mac in the free version.
What am I doing wrong?
