that did the trick - is there any info on how the values in the VCB affect the outline
does the Bubble blow up and Pressure suck in the outline

Also how do I quickly remove the grid lines after I have applied a texture

I haven't been able to fine a tutorial I understand on the Soap/Skin Bubble tool so appreciate any assistance on this.

my question is this
-I make my closed outline
-click the Generate Soap Skin Icon
-see a outline with squares (can type in the VCB a different value)
-I select all and click the X/Y Icon and see the following

EDIT TOOL: RUNNING SOAP SKIN RATIO
RATIO X/Y: 30
PRESSURE:
-I can type in a value in the VCB and it changes the ratio value but nothing happens onscreen also the grid pattern that first appeared is not there
-if I select all again and click on the Bubble Icon I can set the pressure but nothing happens

I Do not have the ProVersion - could this be the problem

any info appreciated
