Workfl;ow is my main concern, not only for Sketchup but for my web productivity, I manege an number of sites and it can be overwhelming
my reasons for considering a mac are as follows:
-no it's not because of the commercials
-need a new system and figured I would consider mac
-on a short term contract with a company and it is a ALL mac office
-want sketchup to work with some rendering before I switch
-I have on my desk the hard-drives from 6 dead pc's so I need to strip off data
-tired of constantly troubleshooting windows
so any mac/sketchup/rendering software folks want to share thier experience
I hear ya - I have the full CS4 master for PC - and have to start fresh over, will keep my PC and gravitate sketchup over to the mac
yep...may make the pilgrimage to mac sio my question is
will the latest iMac and sketchup be a goot fit - is there anything I should look for and whatr are my rendering options
sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search earlier
any info appreciated
thanks Patrice
your right - it works fine with just a flat item

I created a series of components (semi-complex) and grouped them into a pattern shapes simular to puzzle pieces, I made it a component and wish to STAMP this into my terrain
each time I try Sketchup stops at 10% and becomes un-responsive, I did have some difficulty with having my pieces at the same elevation
I uploaded it - could this be a component issue of a computer horsepower one

I noticed that smustard you can use thier plugin to make a 2D plant images fron the PNG format - does anyone have experience with this process - is there a 3D plant maker using the PNG file as a template
I have tried PlantStudio at
http://www.kurtz-fernhout.com to make 3D plant images - but am unsatified with the quality
