    • RE: The Dutch Threat

As a dutch guy i only could say that the question is a bit different then the american guy say's.

In Holland people can get euthanasie when the suffer an illnes wich will lead to death. And they must ask for it, and a family member must also agree with it. And not all the docters would cooperate with the ill people. So you must go a long way before you can get euthanisia if you want it.

The other solution is to through yourself in front off a train, from a building. But then you hurt other people. We think euthanasie is a decent kind off way to end your life on a human way.

    • RE: Texture/logo on glass

importing an image only works for flat logos - the drinking glass one would have to be mapped. Also, make sure the "use alpha for transparency" is checked in the vray material.

Yes it worked fine and i found the use alphafor transparency, this one must only in the diffuse layer with the imported logo.

By the way nice bottles you made, i will try these also to make

    • RE: I can't render my pic help....

first off all, put your file in the message because then people can take a look at the file.

But before that, do the following actions

      1. save the file
      2. restart sketchup and open the file
      3. purge unused materials in SU and in the material editor from V-ray
      4. Check if all the material used in the file is available on the disk
      5. Render again.

In think the render will have no problem at all.

Please let me know, and perhaps an screen print πŸ˜’

Save the file, and restart SU.

What you also can do is purge unused materials in SU and in Vray.

    • RE: Reception SU+Vray

Very good, but i don't like the woman who is added pp.
Perhaps you can add a 2d person in your render. And i would like to see a cooperate logo on the wall.

But the lighting is good and i love the used materials

    • RE: On The Corner

      Yes, i like it.
But if i must make a comment i would suggest a light in the shop display from the estate agent on the corner, perhaps also on the bilboard above the door.
And perhaps you can use a night hdr as background πŸ‘

What i like to see from you is the same render but then as a night scene. Then we see something new and i think a very pretty image.

I have this message also sometimes. What i do is save the file and restart sketchup. In most of the cases 99% it wil render then without any problem.
What the reason is for this message, i don't know i think it is a little bug πŸ‘Š

    • RE: Oh-Oh

As a complete newbie i can say that i like the interface of thea, but i love to work with vray because it is easier to learn. But when you learn a lot with vray, then you can better undertand how thea works.

But for me now i work to most with vray for exterior work, and for interior products rendering i use thea. So also the best for both works.

But Thea has definitly the best forum, people helps everyone and you get a very quick answer. That is the main problem with vray and the chaos group
