The first one is renderd with an kt light with minimal reflection. But perhaps it is to dark. The second i agree you comment for the flat texture.

The render engine is KT and i make today a new one and also with a night render.

Now my outside render is also available. End i have not seen any comment, i think it isn't possible that my first render is so good. Because i'm very into self critic i know what must better the next time

I am een middelaged dutch guy who is very interested in working with sketchup and kerkythea. So i spend the last month(s) on learning the getting started from sketchup en kerkythea. Also i asked some questions on this forum.

And i must say, it helped me a lot. Today i did my last tutorial, and i think that i have know enough knowledge to make my first project and render.

So i would like to thanks everyone on this forum, and next week i deliver my first project and then can everyone shoot there critics and comments.

Nice renders, but what i would like to know is how do you get the name in the picture on the right side .

Is it a watermark or is this the picture in the background ?

As a newbee i tested this tutorial and it is exactly what i'm searching for.
