If you just want to see the tumbnails... just download the program "3d Photo Browser". That will allow you to see tumbnails of 3d max, sketchup, 3ds, etc...

Hello Cesare,
I am sorry but I cannot give you those files like just that on the forum. The thing I can do to to help you is if you write me private a mail explaining who you are and why you need those files I can talk the owners of the files in question the architectural firm that is responsible for the old town Dubrovnik area if they will be so kind to let you have them.
Without their consent I cannot give them away to you or anybody else.
Thanks,
Mateo

an excellent scene... thanks pibuz! i was just beginning to dig deep into MentalRay and this seemed just the perfect candidate for my test!
all the images here are simply awesome! and yes Mies was rite when he said "less is more"
good rendering... can you share the .max file ?

Hi Pibuz,
...An animation containing your scene.
Hope you like it
(I used a shitload of rubies to get the animation go smoother than the default SU output. Way too tedious)
I gave you credit in the titles. Here it is:

hi, what the software that you make the animation ?
@chris fullmer said:
This is really late, but the way to do it without purchasing or coding anything is like this:
- Set the model animation speed to .1 seconds.
- Export an animation with these settings:
For the export type choose .jpg (or .png or whatever)
Set the frame rate to 10 frames per secondThen export it. It works out that 10 frames per second and we set the animation to be .1 seconds per scene. So each scene gets exported, one after the other. I hope that makes sense. You should also be bale to set the animation to 1 scene per second and then set 1 frame per second if your brain likes to think of it like that.
Chris
oh many thanks , it a good idea

pretty sure there are containers on formfonts.... not sure about 3dwarehouse...they're out there though! looks great though.
no no , as I said already, this model I 've downloaded in 3dwarehouse of dandis yes, thanks dandis for his very good model

I respect your hard work on these! I am glad you are keeping busy.
I can only say this with the love and passion of an architect:
but from an architect's viewpoint, these designs scare me to death.all I can do is pray that this, this, this, and this never get built. It's like the worst absolutely devastating land-destroying developments of the United States got steroid injections... please tell me it isn't so...
land-destroying .... yes ... I agreed with you man ...but as you known , my country Vietnam is not a high-development country, my country still poor and in many urban project , the goverment salvage maximum land to built and built ... not have enough tree... I dont like that but I must be accepted ... we are poor country and we need development of economy more than the green enviroiment.
BUT I 'm not the architect that make this urban planning I'm just a student in architecture university and this is my freelancer job to model that with sketchup
this model I download from 3dwarehouse. "indoor-storage" from Dandis. thanks for good modelling ^^
and I render it , just relax.
cheeersss

Nice work. It reminds me somewhat of the development around Denver, CO: Tech Center, Highlands Ranch, etc.
Is this conceptual or are there plans for eventual construction in the near future?
thanks for comments,
this is urban project will be deployed in future (Dalat , Vietnam)

impressive job modeling and rendering
a question that kind of machine work to support such large-sized models?
this is my computer : cpu q9550 , ram 8gb , vga 9800gx2

This is very easy to do and i am sure a script already exist. But i am very glad you asked this question because it forced me to figure it out for myself. Basically you just loop thru the pages(scenes) and call the write_image() method. it took me about 5min to figure out from the API docs. If you are an adventures soul i will send you what i have or you can wait for a link, or full script from someone.
yes , thanks man , let give me that script ^^
hello all,
I have this problem:
I have very large sketchup file with many scences (over 100) - urban project , as you know , very large file , and then I must spend much time to export each image from each scense ... Anybody have the plugin/ruby that I can make the "automatic exporting" all the sence to 2d image ?
many thanks and happy new year ^^
