hello all,
having some trouble exporting sections to vector formats (pdf, eps, etc) in version 7.1---Some lines seem to disappear at random. I have read about not using "sketchy" styles, so I'm just sticking to the defaults (hidden line, etc). This happens both while exporting directly from SU, and also while in LO using "vector" moode --see the attached image for an example. Seems to happen on both Mac and Windows machines.

Any tips much appreciated!

yep, read the leopard hang fix. it didn't fix. searching the internetz left me feeling there was a larger problem. this is the "discussion" thread, so maybe you discuss now rather than insinuating that I am dumb.

does someone know what the deal is with sketchup and leopard? I've been having multiple issues since switching to a mac-- scale problems and frequent hangs primarily. or is it just me?

didn't work for me. leopard still beach balling away. really too bad.

I've finally figured it out: you have to also make sure that you're in hidden line mode. shading will throw off the scale when exporting to pfd. in hidden line, works like a charm. surprised no one mentioned this as a possible solution.

these are the steps that I am taking, so I'm still confused. For instance, when I "print" to pdf, everything is fine, my 9 m object gets scaled down to 4.5 cm (1:200 scale). But when I "export", it comes out about 4.2 cm--- just a bit off. Any further thoughts?

this mouse had worked correctly on my pc, so maybe it is just a mac compatibility issue. I hadn't installed the software on either computer-- I think it is only pc compatible software anyhow....

this is driving me nuts:
I can "print" to .pdf at a desired scale successfully, but exporting (2d file) to .pdf is coming out at a screwy scale, somewhat smaller than it ought to be. I've tried selecting/deselecting the "match view size" with no luck. I used to able to do this but I must have lost the touch. Help much appreciated.

got a new mac recently, found that while using my old logitech wireless mouse the scroll wheel won't zoom when I am holding down shift to constrain a move, line, etc. Shift/constrain works fine independently, as does the zoom/scroll wheel function-- Just not together. This has always worked for me on both macs and pcs. any advice?
