FredoScale's Bending tool, Vertex Tools 2 Rotate tool, CurviLoft's Lofting tool, Extrude Edges by Toolset, Flowify would all help you on your journey ๐Ÿ‘

Or FollowMe with some careful decision making...

      thank you.
I used flowify but i guess i have to make the top part pointy and bulgy...

    • Whats the easiest way to model this capital

      hello

i am trying to reconstruct a capital from an image. So far i am not satisfied with my result and i'm having problem modeling the pointy part of the volutes. Maybe i have to try another way of modeling it. Do you have any sugesstions?
I am talking about the red highlited part:

Is there a plugin which does this without rotating the whole model?

    • A way to transfer lines to a face

Hi i'm searching for a plugin which allows me to transfer selected lines to a target face. Maybe you know the function in Shapr3D you see in the pictures. In Shapr3d it transfers the line perpendicular to the face.

Depending on what you've done to the geometry, you may be able to select the arc and change its radius in Entity Info.

Yes, but again... I want both arcs to be scaled proportionally. If I scale one arc I have to calculate the size of the smaller arc.

You should know the thickness or you can find out what it is. There's not much calculating to do. Simple addition will take care of it.

Yes you're right it's not that much of calculation I know. I justed hoped for a parametric solution with a plugin or something.
      Thanks anyway.

      But it does the job^^

Thanks thats exactly how I did Nr.4 in my picture. Is there another solution? If I want to change the radius a have to manually draw everything again. Thats time consuming ๐Ÿ˜„

Its such a simple thing but still so laborious in SketchUp.

Hi I'm looking for something like in picture 4.

I tried round corners but it cannot detect outer an inner edge as far as i know. Is there a simple solution to round inner and outer edge porportionally?

Select what you want to randomise, then run this from the ruby console. Quick and dirty but it'll do the trick...

On another note, does anybody know why rand(2.0) isn't giving me floats?

Nice it works really good. Thank you.

    • Offset the position of multiple objects randomly

      Hi,

i am searching for a Plugin that can offset the position of any object or component. Like randomly offset the position of an object between 0 to 5 cm in any or a given direction. Its not like Skatter but similar. I was searching for a Plugin which can randomly rotate multiple objects, I found "Random rotate". Is there anything like "random rotate" but for moving objects?
      Thanks in advance! ๐Ÿ˜„

    • From surface or plane to a stair?

Hi is there a plugin which creates stairs out of surfaces or planes by a given angle?stair.JPG

I think it wouldn't be possible for this example but for a component or group maybe?
But again if I define direction and lowest and highest point it could be possible for a solid model...

Is there a way to achieve this automatically? Not only with rectangular faces but also with different shapes. With the normal-push-pull tool it is possible to extrude multiple faces but i want to seperate them from each other and resize them.plane.JPGplane_extrude.JPG
