I like the concept, especially being able to view a specific key with all it's modifiers is nice. Much easier to create "groups" of related shortcuts. For example, being able to see/set related Zoom functions to the z key and it's modifiers.

@ken28875 said: Awesome models, Jacob! How are things going? Still working at Steelblue? I just noticed that Greg is no longer with them. Anyway, if you're still in SF, let's have lunch someday. My office is actually not far from Steelblue, right at the intersection of New Montgomery and Market. Take care, _KN Thanks Ken! Things are going well. No longer at Steelblue. It was a great 1.5 year run but I wanted to move on. That being said, I'm a few minutes out from the city and am down to meet for lunch sometime. Sending you a PM...

I have been using Promap 3D models in the UK but the models are pretty basic a bit like Google Earth but with no textures. How did you get or who made the 3D models of the buildings of the city ? Amazing work by the way

@mike amos said: Nice one, I think the artifacts in the main blade you mention are just artifacts due to the sometimes skewed way sketchup handles geometry. I doubt your model is at fault in any way. The render comes out real nice too, Cheers mate. Yea, I was using subtract and the blade basically exploded. Softening resulted in an ugly face, decided to leave it. Thanks! @cuttingedge said: Wow super high poly for a knife. In reality tiny things are harder to model. But hey, nice clean modelling . If I have choice, I would have every piece of my model this detailed if SU can handle them. The file size came out to about 15mb. Definitely excessive in the poly department. @bryan k said: Holy moly! Thank you, kind sir!

Thanks all! Ken, I'm a big fan of your work, it put any doubts of using sketchup professionally to rest. I love the transformation you made. Thank you for putting in the time to show me what's possible. I'm new to photoshop and find the tutorials online to be verbose and overwhelming, although I felt the same about Sketchup at one point. Looks like I need to put in a few thousand hours of tinkering. Thanks again!

I am very impressed, especially in view of the short time you have been using the software.
