here's the model if anyones looking for a corner wc. i've tried to keep the file size as small as possible but the bowl required more faces for a smoother finish than hoped http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehouse/details?mid=1a4830423b35585393b31e46e42bc546

    • RE: Autocad Splines

Apologies the for the delay in the response. Think you may be right Dave. There were a few splines within the drawing that contained varying amount of segments. It appears that those that had many short segments were the ones that did not show within the styles. On running the 'weld' script on the splines to make them one polyline in SU, they appear in the style, thanks Dave! πŸ‘

Thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread for those who are beta testing the plugin. Think it'd be good to see what others are thinking/finding of the plugin.

      First impressions....looking good....

    • Autocad Splines

Does anyone know why when an autocad(2007) drawing is imported in to SU6, the splines disappear when a style is applied? is there any way to fix this?

      bruce, loving the work

i've tried stuff like this in the past but without success. i think i'm having trouble trying to understand how to twist an object round another object, i can taper and twist a single object, just not round another

      can anyone help explain?

    • RE: SU Shadows

i got no problems with going between programs (su to ps to kerky or wherever) its just sometimes not feasible or worth the effort. like i mentioned previously, i was wondering if it could be done in su, would be very handy. i'll ask in the ruby area see if anyone has any ideas

    • RE: SU Shadows

i was the same, i couldn't find anything. i don't really want to keep having to export to something like kerky as it can sometimes be time consuming. even if there was a style that could change shadow colours would be very handy

is it possible to change the colour of the shadows in sketchup? no just change the brightness or darkness but the actual colour?

i could do with a converter aswell. use pro6 at work and 5 pro in work. for the times i forget to save as v5, it would come in handy unless anyone will resave for me as v5?.... πŸ‘Ώ

just have to remember more often... πŸ˜’

    • RE: Kerkythea lights/SU arc segments

i was hoping for something more within the settings so that whenever i start a new project, the number of segments is considerably higher than that of the default of 24. the number of segments only remain at the number you set them for for that particular object, if a new arc or similar is drawn, it always starts of at 24.

    • Kerkythea lights/SU arc segments

      Hi all,

I can't seem to figure out how to make your own lights for use within Kerkythea (not the spotlights or point lights that are readily available) i.e. like a neon or strip light. every time i think i have it sussed it appears as a spot or point light in kerky, any ideas how to do this?

secondly, is there any way of changing the default number of segments that sketchup chooses for the arcs and circles? its pretty tedious having to change such things individually 😞

      cheers in advance
