Hi Rich,
I used the Easy Preset Medium +
have you had a look at Solo's plants and tree collection..??
...i have used them in my House & Pond (just posted it in the Gallery)
Hi Tridem,
Yes it is a little overexposed....i have found that they print a little better as they tend to print darker on my printer.
Here it is again, darkened up just a little bit
cheers Oli....
......remind me to send you a a fine bottle of red from our famous Barossa Valley...!!!
Modelled in SU, rendered in Twilight and a little bit of post pro in Gimp
......and the plants are from Solo's wonderful plant collection....!!!
great technique, very nice clean images Dirk...well done
....i prefer images without people and cars...the best architectural photographs rarely ever show people in them (strange though, when i think that the purpose of the building is for humans...)but they look much better without them...
....it's all about the architecture...!!....and you have achieved that...!!
Cheers,
Gareth
hi solo,
both render styles are very nice..
.....great work, but do you ever sleep...??
cheers,
Gareth
the exporter link doesnt work
thanks...i'll try that idea....hopefully it doesn't conflict with the license agreement.
I have actually asked Admin...but they havn't responded yet
Nice work....congratulations....!
I'd like to see this one rendered in KT.
yes Daniel, i know......but what i dont know is how to get it from my PC to my laptop successfully, and easily.
Hi Solo,
Yeh, I saw that suggestion somewhere in an old topic.
The problem is that I need it to be fully functional so that when I arrive in my office after working at home, the whole thing will happen seamlessly...including setting up layouts etc.
it's all about making these deadlines which seem to be more plentiful these days...!!
I have searched the Forum for an answer to this question.
I have been running SU on my office PC for a couple of years, and now I have bought a laptop so I can take my work homw rather than stay in the office....
.....so the question is, how do I run SU on my laptop and my PC?
I have tried to copy it from my PC, but it wont work. I am running out of time and need to do this urgently.
Do I need to download it again and if that is the case, how do I get the necessary authorisation to run it...??
Thank you in advance.
Gareth
Nice work and a great idea to draw from nature for inspiration
....i have a suggestion, if i may indulge..........and that would be to have two different colours of masonry to create 'bands of colour' running horizontally of course.....you could make them continuous bands or perhaps discontinue them randomly to avoid monotony and predictability.
It would have the effect of adding some additional light and shade by adding one more colour, and where natural light and shade hit the additional colour you will get additional variation in colour themes.
Hi Fletch......I havn't had much spare time on my hands to develop this on any further yet.
....it's difficult to balance the business side of making money, with the enjoyable side of playing with SU and KT.
I have a couple of projects to complete fairly urgently....as soon as I have got those out of the way I'll be able to play again and learn more..!!.....and I'm looking forward to it.
Cheers,
Gareth
Hi Fletch,
I'll study up on the Xfrog trees this weekend when i'll be able to work without being disturbed......aaaah the peace and quiet of an Easter weekend....!!!
I used the spherical sky.......what i have noticed is that the reflections show up in a daytime render but not the night time render
Maybe if i change the transparency settings of the glass perhaps it may help
.....I'll try again.
Thanks for the helpful comments so far...!!
nice boat.......where did you get it from??
i need some good boats for a model i'm doing
cheers,
Gareth
yes the trees...!!!.......i still haven't worked out how to use the Xfrog trees in KT yet
Fletch.......believe it or not, I have used the KT Thin Glass....i might need to adjust the transparency
i have made some small adjustments to the light settings......dificult to see these at this pixel size
