RE: My home corner
First of all... Nice job, maleemk...!!

and as i see your vase render is smoother than what i did .which option does that smoothing?
I assume that you've used the SU2KT when you originally exported this scene, Majid, right..??

If so, you should try to export it as OBJ and import it to KT, and you'll notice that the vase will be smoother...
Reason for this being that SU2KT doesn't export vertex welding and smoothing surfaces will appear more angular... -
RE: Car renders,WIPs&videos
Yeah - the last two looks great..!!
Well done..!
Have all these been rendered using Vray..??

RE: 3D PDF files
The best part of Deep Publisher is, that I can use skp-files directly...

I thought I had to export to 3DS, but it open skp-files directly..!!

RE: 3D PDF files
But I already have Adobe Creative Suite 3, Design Premium...

RE: 3D PDF files

kiitos..!!
Thanks for the heads up, Anssi...
I've always focused on Deep Exploration and haven't seen any other of their applications...
This looks GREAT..!!

I sound like a friggin salesman for Right Hemisphere

Well... Maybe you can talk with them and ask if you can get some provision..??

however Deep Exploration does an amazing job of converting any format from SU to DWG into 3d PDF.
I've been using the 30 day trial, and was amazed..!
But I didn't know that Deep Exploration was capable of generating 3D pdf-documents... Very useful info..!!
I think I might purchase a licence very soonยด... Also now where the USD is very low...
I'll remember to mention your name, Pete... Maybe it will mean that I can get a discount...

RE: Zac's gallery
With exception of the chair (which is too low poly and missing part of the legs...) and the texture on the frames, you could have fooled me to believe that this was a real photo...

I really like the lightning of this scene... Well done..!!

RE: Vespa revisited...
Looks great, Ross...
(but I already knew that your digital watercolors are fantastic...
)And with the low exchange rate, Xara Xtreme Pro is actually really cheap...

IDX Renditioner for Google
SketchUp 6 and SketchUp Pro 6 is a photorealistic rendering plug-in that operates directly within Google SketchUp.
It is "one button" easy for novices, yet powerful enough for professionals.Sounds almost like a second Podium...

-
RE: (Help) EPS to SketchUp
If you have Adobe Illustrator, you can just save as DWG and import that to SU directly...

Thanks for the heads up Fredrick! I haven't had time to expand on these lately, and after seeing those I think I will stop and possibly move on to another manufacturer when I have some more time.
Ooohhhh... That wasn't our intention with making the KT model library...

You've converted the Fritz Hansen models to skp-models, enabling users to use these direct in SU... The library we've made can only be used inside KT2008...Please reconsider, since I know many who would find good use of these models in SU...

RE: Fritz Hansen Content
For users of Kerkythea, please check the Fritz Hansen Chairs thread at the KT Forum...

Anyway, hoping to meet up with some old friends in Boston in May.
OK... You lost me...

What's going to happen in Boston in May..??

RE: Fry- Indigo- Vray- Kerkythea- Maxwell- Podium (added page2)
Very interesting...

Although - and as you've already mentioned - I would never use the MLT/BiPT in Kerkythea for a scene like this...
It should be clear in less than 1 hous using PTP (no. 17)Would you mind share that scene..??

I'm sure you know my e-mail address...
