Sorry Alain, but I can't understand what is your purpose with your component and color.
However, if you change "h Porte", for example 240, the component lose his proportion. This is due of the position of the Ouvrant origin. Moreover if you change other parameters the door doesn't works. You have to check the origin of all components, I notice that some of these aren't place exactly on the corners.

      Hi,
I take a quick look to your component...I think that mistake is the wrong position of origin of the component Ouvrant: it must be positioned on the bottom corner of the Ouvrant component. Actually it is far 206 mm from the bottom and not in the corner.

      bye

      Hi Jim,
your reply is very interesting...what does it means "parent" function? Where can I found the explanation about it?
I used 3 animation because I don't know other way to do that. with 3 animation I had noticed that sometimes the component became un-sync.
I will put in practice your advice.

      Thank you very much.

    • Wrong component behavior

      Hi,
I create dynamic component attached below with on click animate. When I click on component to animate it, on the second click the component get deformed (note the dimension the I put to verify that). Very very strange.. ❓ ❓
      Any suggestion about that?

    • RE: Layout export PDF text disappear

I made new attempt: I create a two new scene in sketchup with only text and the original scene without text. then I overlapped in layout the new scenes: the text one vector rendered and other raster rendered. The result is that some text are now invisible directly in Layout as you can see in the attachment...even stranger!
But the text in pdf export is very beautiful!

Well, some disappering text is on the tile boundaries other inside. Otherside, some text are on the tile boundaries and it is visible. the problem does not appear to be systematic. But, my question is: why pdf exporting between Sketchup and layout is it so different?

    • RE: Layout export PDF text disappear

The model is really complex: there are a lot of components or group that I can't reduce for some reason. I can't waste time to redraw model because for my project is not very important how the components appear, but it is important the dimension and some details of them. In this case I have locate the layout of the boilers, pipes, chiller and others...consider that I made this project in 4 days, not only the drawing and it is very poor details. I use sketchup to plan not only to draw. However the look my drawing appears can certainly improved.

Look if you like the other one

The first alternative isn't praticable: Layout fails to complete the render, the model (35 mb) is too complex.
The second is what that I did, but there is a lot of difference between medium and high quality PDF.

The leader in layout is not totally constrain with the model, but only the vertex. If I move the mode the text remain in its position while the vertex move.
Anyway, for next project I will learn to use leader in layout.

Yes, the leader text is done in sketchup because every component has its attribute and so I don't have reenter any text.
The solution suggested by Dave it is probably the only one that works right although the leader in layout are difficult to manage.

I'll try to print directly, but I need the pdf. I printed it directly from sketchup and the quality is very impressive but however I can't put any title block, notes and to manage viewport

    • Layout export PDF text disappear

      Hi,
I'm a sketchup user since version number 5. I used it for engineering project. My problem is about Lyout when I export to PDF: if I use medium quality, the text from sketchup appear without any problem, if I use high quality some text disappear. I post the 2 version of project: in the high quality versoin, note the "disappeared text" in the upper viewport. I tried some variation on settings but the problem persist. I tried to reduced the viewport on the disappeared text and then the problem solved. I don't have any idea how to solve this matter. I can't use vector rendering because the model is to complex despite I have a Nvidia quadro 2000.
      Any suggestion?

PS: sorry for my bad english!
