I'm having fun with the lighting hdri and this Porsche taken by
      http://www.flyingarchitecture.com/porsche-804/

would be more interesting to include this model directly in 'hdri but there would need to place the template on an invisible plane for receiving only the shadows .......... I think that with the coupled SketchUp + Vray is impossible right??

I am impressed by the scenes. Excellent work.
I looked at this yesterday, and I thought maybe the legs on the stools would need to be thicker for stability?

Yes, probably the legs need to be thicker; I've just only used the stools as they are from Google warehouse!

      lovely images!
one tiny thing... the shader for the translucent light fixture looks like it's made of air or something... not glass or plastic.

It's true!!the shader was made by me in the v-ray material editor but the effects isn't good; I wanted a fluorescent shader and take this opportunity to say what is the great weakness of V-Ray for SketchUp: the materials available on the web are few and not very nice, then get a good photo-realism is very difficult πŸ˜’

Modeling in SketchUp and some accessories such as stools and coffee come from the warehouse Google, rendered with V-ray 1.5 in 8 hours, time-consuming because the setting is "pulled" to avoid stains on the surfaces and thre are many reflections present in the stage and also guilty of not performing a machine (2 giga of ram a dual core 3.4 GHz).
later,I will test other materials with different settings

It might help next time to explain that this was only a test of the render engine. Giving a better explaination would have helped.

The car model looks great but seeing as how I think you are looking for crits on the render I will keep my comments there.

The headlights look all too dark. this glass should be almost completely clear with a low IOR.
The wheel material looks bad. I am not sure what the material was supposed to look like but it appears as there is some work to do there or this just cam from a track day and has excessive brake dust build up.
The tires material is far to light.
The HDRI background is blurry and seems a bit out of scale.
The door handles and mirrors should be body color and the front marker (just in front of the front wheel( is clear with an orange bulb not orange.
The bottom of the air splitter is black carbon fibre not body color.

All in all pretty good model but the rendering has a fair bit to go yet.

      Scott

This work was made by few minutes.......1):got model from Google Warehouse;2)making of new shaders(car paint and glass);3) quickly setting by ShaderLIght;4) five minutes for rendering........STOP .THis is only a quickly attempt to check this new render-engine 😎

    • New engine!

This is my first attempt by ShaderLight beta release;the material editor is still not very good and the render setting too......if this one is turned for high quality renedering it's necessary a lot of RAM; however the engine actually is very easy to use!

    • Photomatch

I've got this model from Google warehouse to make a photomatch; if i export to Kerkythea there i'snt any problem but if I try to render by v-ray I got only the renderized model and the two planes without the image.....why??

can you make one tuto for this modeling ( roof 3d) plz .

the modelling of tile 3d is very very simple;there is a part flat and part convex cone:Build a cone, cut the tip of the cone and then cuts the cone in half and you got the part of tile cone

    • Residential complex

residential complex entirely modeled in SketchUp, tiles and ... "vegetables" are in 3d, no displace because it eats the ram, some difficulties in managing the BB because the preview in the material editor no satisfy me (I must go deeper the problem), all materials except glass and copper have been mapped directly in SU, 30 minutes to render
