Question, sometimes when I'm in the above, the pan mode is on, the hand, anyway when I click on another icon, the hand command won't change to
the command that I just selected. It's like it's locked. Can someone tell
why why this happens and why I can't change the command. I'll select
the bulb to do a lighting and the pan command won't change.
Thanks
Is there a tutorial on utube that you know of...
Thanks,
Michael
Basically I do interior work, I've tried using the spot light and point.
But I don't understand the different settings, I know that it's trial and error, but man is it frustrating.
Thanks
Can someone tell where to look for using interior lighting, I'm just using it, i.e. parallel, spot, etc. There's nothing really to see in
the book. Any suggestions
thanks for your help, my other question is when I initially set up a drawing what is the correct procedure for setting up drawing units. I typically work in feet and inches, not meters.

I'm new to this rendering program. My biggest problem is setting up a new drawing.
Especially when I want to insert people, objects. Sometimes it works, other times, not.
Can sometime give me easy instructions, I don't have a problem importing my sketchup
drawing, but after that. I work in feet and inches.
Thanks,
Thanks, everyone for your reply. One more question I'm new in Piranesi, do any of you know
how to set up a drawing, the book I have isn't that great. Especially when I want
to insert people, objects. Sometime they scale up and down and other times they don't.
Plus the book always works in meters.
When I first started using sketchup I was working in ADT, I found that I couldn't import that type of drawing into
sketchup, but I did find out if I worked in the standard autocad, i.e. say release 2004 it would important
and I had no problems after that.
Can someone tell me how to show the above ceiling in my model. I know how to draw a typical ceiling,
but I would like to show an armstrong type of ceiling. I know that you can draw it in photo shop, non user
but is there a way that I can show it directly in my model. I do use the 3D warehouse, but it's a real bugger
to import, draw etc.
