I am modeling a small room so it is hard to get a good overall view of it from within it so what I want to do is show the layout from above, however normally the only light coming in would be from the window not from the space where the ceiling would be. I need a plane that is invisible but still blocks light. I realize there are a couple workarounds like changing the exposure or making a rectangular light right by the window and turning off the sky light. I just want to know if there is a direct way to block the light.

RE: Fix Your Plugins
Sorry it's hosted on the dowlnoad sites. I think I read another post on this forum saying your not supposed to put .dlls as attachements. This did work for me. And just incase you don't trust the .dlls I posted they are msvcr71, msvcp71, msvcp80 and msvcr80. So if you don't trust me you can just dowload them from another site like (link removed, see Dan's post below with a link to microsoft).

Fix Your Plugins
Some people have had problems with sketchup plugins, like vray, not loading properly. The error is "Error Loading File VRayForSketchup.rb
126: The specified module could not be found. - C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp 7/Plugins/VRayForSketchUp/VRayForSketchUp.so "The error has to do with the plugin wanting to use a dll that is not present. This is just a archive containing four dlls people have said fixed the problem, not all four of them different people have said different ones fixed it but I just put in all four.
The Fix: Fix your sketchup plugins by extracting these dlls into your C:/Windows/System32 folder. If you are running 64 bit some people have said that you need to extract to C:/Windows/SysWOW64 folder.
I take no credit for finding this solution, I'm just distributing it.
EDIT: Suspicious file removed. Please download original .dll's from the source at Microsoft:

RE: [Plugin][$] RoundCorner - v3.4a - 31 Mar 24
Thanks so much. I just couldn't visualize my remodeled bedroom when the mattress was a rectangular prism.
