Didier's [Project_faces_vector.rb] will put selected face on inclined plane.
Just draw a reference line vector in the direction wanted for projection path.

Probably something you already know but the script does not work on inclined curves or multiple inclined connecting lines.

Sure would be nice to have this work on the above for vertical surface detail and boolean and ???

I checked V6 with only loft installed.
It is bumping into another script or ?
The same script set is on V7 and loft is OK there.??
BTW the number of arcs 2-whatever still bombed.

Hidden was selected and thanks for getting to it so quick and helpful.

Just pilot error and the hidden geo was the real problem.
Apologies to Driving Dimens and all of Russia too.
No idea now just how or whether removing DD helped or ????

I will just stay in my room until my mind gets right again.

Hi all

If anyone has had the result shown using the [hide] function in SU
it seems that there is a conflict with the driving dimensions plugin.

This is not file specific and did occur in both V6 and V7 on new files when lld.exe was installed.

The residual scrim on hidden faces or objects will block access to underlying entities as the face is actually still in place.

The uninstall for ldd fixed the problem.

Reference object and reference line must be on red axis.
The reference line must also be the same length as the object and offset in plan as you want.
(in this case it was centered and above one of the elements)
1-Pick the object
2-invoke the script
3-pick the reference line
4-pick the path and [enter] to create the sweep.

Sounds like a very well trained voice and just who is/was her voice coach.??
Also she has a real love of her music and it shows in the delivery.
