tig. is a very strange error.
sometimes it generates and sometimes not.
I have not found a pattern of regular behavior

the error in the ruby console, is generated by file called RubyWinFunc.so, using the Vray render engine.

and

Sketchup is closed only when the mirror and duplicate the components / groups.
However if only mirror the components / groups (not duplicate) sketchup is not closed.
By far the best solution is to have the closed ouliner

i'm thinking this is some sort of glitch with sketchup itself regarding the orientation of the bounding box.. you can recreate this behavior without using WorkPlane.. see attached skp

However,
if the geometry is generated as a group or component directly from ruby, SI can draw shapes on inclined planes.
if you later apply any modification to this geometry (move, scale, ungroup, etc. ..) this property is lost.
