Thanks everyone for the kind words. Dazza, the lighting is just a bunch of ies downlights and a hemispherical "studio" ibl. [attachment=0:ed7skbnm]<!-- ia0 -->screenshot.JPG<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:ed7skbnm]

      Ah, simple. Thanks πŸ˜„
I always tend to overthink my lighting!

      Hey Guys.

I'm definetly more of a modern rock / alternative type.
Here's my current "go to" songs.

The Black Keyes - Little black submarine

      Incubus - Dig

      Red - Feed the machine

@ SOLO - The Springbok Nude Girls sure brings back a lot of nostalgia! πŸ˜„

Mate I know what you mean! For me Layout was a godsend as prior I was using WORD to do all plans and concepts! Layout has some short comings though with lack of shadows but that is quickly overcome with an action in PS. I'm not so sure how well Corel draw goes with shadows, I sent some artwork out last week in PDF and the shadows were lost the other end as they were using Corel and took them about ten attempts to get it close till I gave up and put up with some resolution loss and exported a PNG In lieu!

Tut wise mate help is on the way!
      http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=179&t=47146

Oh, my "WORD"! πŸ˜„ I remember the day when I was using Word as well. So glad that's over.
CorelDraw is really powerful, but I find it extremely unstable (frustrating would be more apt) and usually overkill for most of what I do!

Your Tut teaser is looking really promising. Can't wait!

      Lovely work, Richard.
Funny how 1 comment can skew all subsequent views. πŸ˜‰ Sure is 1 devilish design! 🀣

But seriously, how on earth do you do that in Layout?
      I don't suppose you would consider doing a tutorial? πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„

Mind you, I have never really put much effort in to learning Layout. Each time I try, I tend to think that it seems too simple and not powerful enough and give up and go back to CorelDraw (which is a pain in the butt).
But then I see what you can do...

"I think part of this worry is that users could be afraid that this move is really to compete than to innovate. Just remember those numerous plugins by your biggest fans. And because of these fans, your software has the be ability for complex modeling, BIM, rendering and animation. So, in a way it is limitless compared to the $3,000 drafting programs! Now that I think about it, what makes SketchUp so unique is that it has nothing to do with technology, it's community. People work so hard on new plugins because they believe in your software, they even offer to help and inspire newcomers. This is pride, and I recommend your team lets that become your navigation as SketchUp develops further. Good luck!" -- Christopher Vela

      Thanks, Mike, I appreciate it!

Its still quite raw (been 12 days) and we feel like a limb is missing from our family.

And here is one of my special boy, Zac.
A more loving dog I have never met which makes his passing a few weeks ago (at 2.5 years) all the more tragic and heart-aching!
May his gentle soul rest in peace!!!

Please be very careful, onions are toxic to dogs. Speak to your vet for details.
