would a Dark Sci-Fi/Apocalyptic door have panic bars on it? I'm thinking. . the inhabitants probably wouldn't want you to be able to get out.

I do Love the render. It really gives the sense of the North Atlantic circa 1941. You should show her with a damaged screw so she can only sail west. That way the planes from the Ark Royal can finish her off.

The shot that killed Hood just happened to benefit from the lack of depth to the armoured deck and exploded inside the aft 15" magazine which rather bent the ship out of shape.
