Just a couple of more runs with the exteriors.

Models and materials looks weird...try improving them and render with higher presets.

Can you show us the sketchup model and tell us what you modeled and what was imported?
Scott
....or even share the illumination settings!
Anyway it's looking awesome...keep posting!
Nice room!
I'm not sure about the interior lights but a couple of light models would add realism.
I mean with so much perforations in walls, lights could be ample for a decent render IMHO.
Hi Oli, I guess you're cruising when exterior shots are concern. Great renders as always.

Thanks for the chair! Awesome!
It's looking great and I love the layout.
Really hope the end result or interior would feel as spacious as compared to the facade.
Awesome render, looks pretty cleaned!
Btw...does it shows caustics?
A quick one, much different enviroments.
And possibly ending my car test altogether.
Thanks guys, once again!

Lower the tire press ever so little. The tires must flatten onto the pavement. Just a touch.
Thanks Roger, will try them out.
A great eye, as always!
Thanks maj & alpro!
Totally agree with the comments and really hope to improved them with a couple of more practice.
The last studio studio test was part of a learning curve and with loads of help from the forum, I mananged a couple of shots. Thanks guys!
But the setup didn't really achieve the realism I expect.
Some once again I gotta bored you guys with a couple of cars.
Any I do hope to in-cooperate a couple of exterior stuffs in future.
Testing out both interior and exterior presets, here are the shots.
Btw, this is the tut I use from a great teacher!

Awesome work!
Care to share more info on the SU to C4D to vray workflow.?
Just a couple of new shots for the practice.
Still struggling with PP issues.
The lego shot was from a request for a kid btw.

Hi Oli, pretty awesome interior wip.
I think the preset really work well for the shot.
Just thought the enviroment is a little too much for the interior, I mean the GI.
And probably a couple of issues with some reflections, esp for the metals.
Anyway it's looking great...keep posting!
Awesome work Fletch!
I noticed the images looks much different from normal TL... much darker..
Is what you wanted or your monitor playing tricks on you?

Btw..any tips on smoothing or modelling would be appreciated.
Just use Eraser+control key and run over those sharp corners to smooth them. If you are drawing from scratch, increase the segments of your arcs/circles.
Thanks d12dozr will try them out and practice them.
Great forum work for too!
