Intial thought might be the hdr, but the lights looks pretty spot on.
Probably some rotation or the mats.

Beautiful image, itΒ΄s hard to tell which one I like better.
As far as I am concerned, there is no need for animations - that still life painting style has a feeling of its own.
BTW which render engine is that? Some info on render settings if you could spare some time?
Cheers! The scene could be easily rendered in Twilight or Kerkythea with unbiased presets.
And I almost forget, thanks to Andeciuala for the beautiful test scene.Vegetation test new vray by Andeciuala - Google 3D Warehouse

RE: Throwing Leaves
@Oli - Thanks! Probably exterior scenes are much easier to cook.
@Pyroluna - Animations would be fun I guess, but I got to start somewhere.
@numbthumb - before the forums, I spent a couple of years in the chatzone or mirc.
Just couldn't find a way to switch off the computers. -

Wow, thatΒ΄s some serious leaves throwing
I like the atmosphere ( or maybe IΒ΄m just depressed, but anyway - very nice work! )
Thanks mate!
Life gets weird sometimes.
When I get depressed, I switch off the computers and hang-out with close friends. -

Here's a render from me. twilight. not really happy with the light and the materials.
It should be rendered with interior presets (#9) with lights intensity lowered.
Or you might use some exposure adjustments at the camera tab.
Nice try btw! -

is that seriously a render?
Lol! In fact it doesn't, for it looks like some photomatch.
But we'll see how it goes in a couple of months, when the new version is out for test. -

Very nice indeed Dspace. Is the backdrop a standard Keyshot scene or did you shop it in?
Thanks Flipya.
Standard backplate was used so does the matching hdr. -

Really nice renders, Dspace...
Haven't had any time to test keyshot, but I also find it very expensive...Can you shed some lights on render times, functionality etc...?
I guess you are right on the pricing Fred.
But it's just for testing out car renders.
I'm probably more interested with the new Keyshot with sort of KT liked GUI or Material browser. For render times about 2-3 hrs for medium settings. 4-8 hrs for high sampling.
It's quite "slow" actually, even sometimes those vray light cache feels slow. -
Lambo + Shots
Haven't posted for quite a while.
Found a lambo (3ds) and test out the keyshot.

RE: Restaurant project.
Very nice renders, looking awesome!
How about sharing some tips on exporting to Maxwell or to Maxwell Studio. -
RE: Rogue's Ford Falcon...
The setup were pretty spot-on. Probably the model too.
But IMHO, some of the metals and rubber didn't appear correct.
Anyway lovely renders! -
RE: Bark-itecture
Btw, which rendering apps r u using, it looks pretty cool, even the post-pro.
Probably some softer shadows could add more realism. -
RE: Soft mood Living
I can't say much about the bloom, it came across as some noise reduction.
Anyway, such a cool render and looking really great.
Just thought the red lounge chair is a bit of distraction,
but it could be just some personal taste. -

Hi I'm back
Thanks for all the nice comments
So, mr D-Space.... you want to see a HDRI-lighted image with caustics??
Here it is:Cool!
Thanks for the insight! -
RE: A vase
@unknownuser said:
I could, but not in Artlantis. Will do tomorrow
I was playing around with some friends 3.0 and somehow didn't get use to some of the settings so I thought maybe you can shed some light.
Anyway I think you're doing great with renderings. Keep posting! -
RE: A vase
It looks pretty good, I mean the round corners.
Just thought it you could show some view with the caustics or vase's shadows.
And also about the enviroment, could you do one with an HDRIs? -
RE: Render application Home pages
Not posted I guess!
The main highlight will probably be the introduction of new V2 or Keyshot2 version which is still under Beta.
Even for new Shots, with lots of new feature, and I heard there will be unbiased preset as well.
So pretty interesting
