Great work!
Love the layout and the design. Very neatly done.

RE: Sportbike made in sketchup and rendered in kerkythea
Well done!
Probably the models wasn't as great, I mean there's a shot which the muffler actually gets in the body.
Btw..the lights are pretty interesting, which global did you use? -
RE: Was just doing some tests
Beside the scaling or UV issues, I just thought probably the lounge chair wasn't as suitable there.
Btw..could you do an ies for the wall? -
RE: Sketchup / Artlantis / Lumion / Octane - el azul estudio
Nice renders!
Can you also post some real photo of the project that resemble the renders. -
RE: NPR Style Method [Tutorial]
Cool work!
Seems like preset 6 are getting popular for KT, but the "Thea" on the final composite is confusing. -
RE: Twilight Render 1.4 (New release)
I think it's great news for Twilight.
New speed, materials!
Probably it's high time for me to cook up a couple of shots. -
RE: Rooftop addition, my first render here
It's pretty tough to make much rendering comments esp on photomatch. I mean a small fraction is rendered (I guess) and most parts are photos.
Definetly the humans from the warehouse are pretty obvious. -
RE: Twilight Render 1.4 (New release)
Wow! Lovely car!
Does it mean it will cook up much faster than the older versions? -

Mate I'm sure that a few well placed lights and good camera angle would produce some very nice shots of the scene! To suggest it be a limit of the software is not pushing your abilities to work with it and get something special!
I'll try and find that old open wheeler and reconstruct it and post it back here, such a great subject!
Thanks mate, I got your point.
Love to push my rendering limits too.
But you could provide some inspirations or pics, so at least I have an idea of what you have in mind. -

Wonderful renders, keep them coming.
Did you model the bike and car in sketchup?
Have a nice day,
_KN
Thanks Ken, I started learning SU much later , thus lacking in much modelling skills compared to you guys.
That's why I'm here and you can see some of my old renders have more 3ds models than skps.
But I have some collection of models which I would import and assemble them in SU, some engines or wheels etc and render them later.
Hope to create from scratch whenever I have the time. -

Dspace,
These are some of my favorites. I had just the opposite comment of Richard, I like the lighting effect.
Its soft and has a bit of mistery. I guess its all in what your intention are. BTW what type of lighting did you use: hdri, emitter,..? The color rendition is nice. Thanks bro!
Well everyone including Richard have their point.
A beach probe was used and you might have a couple of light source to create a better GI feel. -

These first two are brilliant!
The second are nice but mate they need some of your artistic skill and more dramatic lighting!
The bike in particular I love and would love to get a hold of the model as rarely things grab me as wanting to be rendered!
I saw a stunning render of a honda early F1 (?) an open wheeler anyway, the model was from the honda site somewhere and needed to be assembled from pieces. I did it then lost the darn model and haven't had time to download and rebuild. Like the bike it offered up so many nice photographic opportunities!
Wow Richard! Thanks mate!
Love to be more dramatic with the lights, but you know, different rendering apps have their capabilities. So it's that much I can do with KT for now.
And love to see some F1 esp from you and always enjoy rendering while we still have the passion to. -

What's with the angle of the laptop screen?
The Qosmio laptop was in fact model by Sergio in SU6 format and haven't ask him yet about the angle issue.
As far as I'm concern, the tilted angle is for better effeciency, saving much render area/time and enable front and back view as well.Btw different FOV or focal length was used for both front and back.

D-space,
What is Post-pro?
I have problems understanding some of the words used here.
The big trees are 3d trees made with ngPlant.
Some of the smaller ones are blenders from:
http://blender-archi.tuxfamily.org/Greenhouseand the other one's from the Google warehouse.
Guess you solve my confusion. I thought your KT renders looks much like Blender so post-pro comes to my mind.
Btw..post-pro is photoshop adjusments. -
RE: Twilight Render - Regas Challenge
Thanks Oli, kinda interesting rule or workflow!
Definetly you got thing going when exteriors are concern, but I'm just playing around and needs more practice. -

Great renders... They look very similar to Thea renders.
Lol! In fact it's an imitation of Thea which I call it "Thea Style".
@ david57 & numbthumb - Thanks for the kind comments

.... i think maybe the grey backdrop could be a bit brighter, but it still works the way it is!
Thanks Oli, in fact I tested out a couple of lighter shades for the backdrop but it brightens up the car paint as well, which doesn't look as good.
And there's one which the backdrop was seperatly adjusted using an alpha map.
It's a matter of preference I guess. -
RE: Old KT Renders
The KT trees looks pretty awesome, any tips on how it was post-pro ?
