RE: A weld or inside fillet ruby?
Too funny....your quick Chris. When I have a minute....which might be awhile, I'll put together a little Photoshop idea of the dialog box. It might help. And I can't believe your not a math whizzzz. I was checking out your Ruby writing tutorial. Can't wait to try it. You've made it look really user friendly. Have a great day!

RE: A weld or inside fillet ruby?
Thanks Howard....good stuff. I'm just looking for a more automated system. I appreciated your input. It's always nice to learn different ways to do things. It looks like it should be something sort of simple to write, well, if you can write ruby script....right Chris .

Certainly not mate..... I wouldn't have spent hours creating an Australian Steel profiles library to upload if it wasn't worth it!!!!!
I'm a bit confused here. What profiles are you able to use in SDS? Are you maybe talking about profile builder?

A weld or inside fillet ruby?
I was wondering if there is already a ruby that creates an inside fillet or a bead of weld. I know one could use various existing rubies and tools to achieve this now but it would be very nice to have an input window for radius size and also having the bead have rounded off end points. Any ideas???
Thanks,
Jeff

RE: How do you make plug-ins for sketchup
So literature to buy if one was to, Ruby or ruby on rails? Sounds like ruby on rails would be the next step or more advanced than ruby?
Thanks,Jeff
