Thank you all, i guess between myself and my IT we goofed on the copy location of some of the scripts. And I did have to delete the podium script. We are back up and running now. Thanks again.

Convert from SK6 to SK7 getting errors regarding rb
Hopefully this is a softball, but i recently upgraded from SK6 pro to SK7 pro. On a PC running XP. I copied the rb scripts over and placed into Plugin folder but getting this error below. Some of them still work, for instance make faces. But Kerky does not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Issues with selection
thanks remus, getting warmer. The only one that "works" is when hardware acceleration is off. The others seem to help none. Boy is it slow without hardware acceleration.

Issues with selection
We are scheduled to leave for this out-of-town charrette so i'm practicing the modeling on my boss' laptop. Same file on my desktop no issues, on my boss's i'm trouble trying to select various objects, be they faces or components or groups. I can't select them or paint them. I can window around them. It tends to select the components behind the one i really want. But it will the component i desire when there are no others behind it. Any thoughts. Where does the problem lie: graphics card or maybe some obscure setting for the mouse?? many thanks,

Unseen faces
how does sketchup think about faces that are in the model but aren't in the viewport? Does a huge terrain affect performance negatively if you are only viewing/rendering a small portion of it?
We are designing a small mountain village on a huge estate. The terrain has 179k faces. Any thoughts about how to manage it well?

RE: Shaking issue
thanks folks, remus and brodie were right: a good bit of it was the groupings and the overlapping surfaces. I knew that a plane on top of a plane would create issues but it really made it look like it was shaking, not the flickering that i've seen in the past. Maybe because it was so widespread. Exploding it took care of a lot of it. We'll be more selective and sparing with the groupings. Thanks again, we appreciate your troubleshooting time.

RE: Shaking issue
here's one of the files that "shakes" as you move throught it. Worse when you rotate or pan around it.block-14_10x.skp

Shaking issue
Hey all,
first post here, hopefully its a softball for you all. I'm collaborating with others in the office on this master planning model. The workflow is thus: CAD drafting of terrain and building footprints, import into Sketchup, then elevate architecture and refine refine refine. The problem is (and i've never really seen it before) a major shaking going on when we view the model, especially up close. Like the darn thing is in a major earthquake. Is this some sort of scale thing or what? Help please. It does this on multiple computers/video cards. thanks,
christopher
