While this has happened more than once, its not constant and I haven't been able to trigger the effect. I think it may have something to do with the tray being on a second monitor and the specific monitor settings.... Next time it acts up I will go for a screen video capture and we can go from there.

I have noticed something a little new for me in layout 2013. Lately when I click to change pages or layers in the corresponding stack, the selected layer or page will jump to the top of the layer stack. I am sure I am not selecting and dragging at the same time...Is there a new preference somewhere that is causing this? its a bit tedious to keep moving things back down the stack.

Any help would be much appreciated,

First place I would check would be your export options dialog box to make sure the settings are similar in 13 to what you had been using in 8. If this doesn't fix the export, then you might check to see if the lines are really not there as sometimes their color properties in autocad match the color of your screen background and it looks like the drawing is empty. Try opening your empty drawing in autocad and doing a select all. you will quickly see in the dialog box how many entities it has found. next type in properties from the command prompt and change the color properties to a different color and see if that lights them up.

Thanks again for the suggestions. I had a chance to clear the cache and update flash and all seems good there but the issue is persisting. Thanks again for your thoughts, I welcome any ideas to help potentially resolve this.

I sometimes have the need to add lines and other elements on top of scaled sketchup views (1/4 scale etc) for things like floor elevation lines, column grid lines, even trees and furniture and other scrapbook elements. It would be really nice to be able to draw lines and move elements around in layout at a scale that matches the view of the model without having doing the mathmatical scale conversion to 1:1 in my head.

As an office we recently upgraded 10 users to sketchup 2013. Since the upgrade, I am the only one having an issue with the geolocation features. When attempting to geolocate in any of the 3 methods available I am getting a blank dialog box. I have access to the warehouse and can easily download models etc. I still have sketchup 8 installed and the geolocation tools work perfectly. As I do this quite often, it would be nice to be able to do this within 2013 and not have to keep working back and forth between versions. Any ideas on what is causing this? Any help would be much apprecitated.
