Hi all,
I am using Animator with V-Ray5 and have the problem that the CUDA mode is not working.
I am also in contact with the V-Ray support and they think it will be a compatiblity problem on the side fo Animator.

What I want to know is, can anyone make use of CUDA while rendering with Animator?

I am on the latest Animator release with Sketchup 2021 on Windows 10.

My CPU is an AMD 5950x, GPU is a NVidia RTX 5000.

It is not possible for a clip. For a single sequence, you have a button to clone it and replace the object.

thanks for your reply and thanks for this great plugin
I have found another issue (guess it is an issue ). I have made a copy of the clip, make them unique, destroy them to single parts and group them again just to be sure they are unique. Before I have done it this way had the problem that the original one has get changed.

In this clip i have some spin-parts that i have to assign to another element. They have the axis in Z, not in the center of the object. When I open this parts for asignment the axis is switched back to center without any reason.

Thats just for your Information. Guess there is something going wrong

Hello everybody,

I'm using Animator with vray on sketuchup 2021 and vray 5. I've set the time to render to 1 minute for each frame. Sometimes the rendering doesn't go to the next frame and I have to click Interrupt in the video render dialog. In the next dialog I choose Cancel. Then the rendering continues.

Since rendering the complete video takes about 46 hours, I let it run overnight. Unfortunately, the process stops every time as described above. Today I still had the message "Error create dump file". After confirming the dialog, Sketchup closed.

I'm not sure what caused the problem. With Sketchup, Animator or Vray.

I would be very grateful for any help.

I can't find a way to do this and I don't want to repeat the animation for all my objects that have the same path.
