RE: ImageProfile script now available
I've been having some trouble with this script, my image uploads, gets converted, but when data is being sent back to sketchup it takes forever, in fact I haven't completed one yet, this last one has been going for 1 1/2 hours. Any suggestions?

VFW renovation wip
I've just started playing with v-ray, been pretty impressed. No pp, still need to add some details and tweak some materials but am overall happy with the straight output and the speed, definitely a nice app. C&C welcomed.

RE: Vismats
Never mind, after some more digging figured it out, must say I'm pretty impressed with the ease of use, most definitely will be buying after my 30 day demo.

Vismats
I'm just starting to play (learn) with v-ray. I've downloaded some vismats from the asgvis site but I don't know how to use them exactly, how do I get them into SU? I've looked through the asgvis forums and also posted there but that forum doesn't seem as active as this one. So any help from the v-ray users here is greatly appreciated.

RE: Photomatch with more than 1 pic
I realize that I only need two corners but this model has to be very accurate and I also want to project the textures from photo on all four sides. Any more info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Photomatch with more than 1 pic
I've been using sketchup for about a year now but just started messing with photomatch. I have a building that I want to model for GE, I have pics of all four corners. Can someone please explain or point me to some tuts on how I can use all four pics for photomatching and texturing my model? Thanks

RE: Whar are the effects of 4 meg of RAM?
Any 32 bit OS won't recognize 4GB of ram, don't know if it doesn't all get used though. I have 4GB of ram, yet my system only shows 3.12GB, however I don't have any problems running several apps like PS and SU at the same time.

Very nice, looks more like summer though with everything in full bloom, I'm longing for some warm weather, hopefully soon.

RE: 2D software
anglaret, I've never had a problem with the percision of Envisioneer, you can set up the program to be as precise as you want. See attached, also some 2D plans done by another Envisioneer user (Ed Stalens) just to show that Envisioneer is more than capable of producing precise working drawings and does so rather quickly.

Edit, would only let me post three attachments but you should get the idea

RE: 2D software
The full version of Envisioneer has customizable short cut keys and several other ways to make it suit your needs. You can either model in model space or import your SU model into model space and then just insert your 2D views in paper space and do any editing that you need too. Also if you already have autocad blocks, you can import those as well. I've been using Envisioneer for a little over a year, I definitely think its the second easiest program to use, SU being first. Try the full version demo.

RE: 2D software
You should really take a look at Cadsoft Envisioneer then. Walls, floors, roofs are all automatic. Windows, doors, openings all cut in walls. Almost as easy as SU to learn and use. There is a 30 day demo available.

RE: 2D software
Have a look here http://www.cadsoft1.com/ Very easy to use, small learning curve, pretty powerful, not as costly as some of the "big boys".
