I have used it (the demo version) for facial reference before, and I think Alan has played with it too. I toyed with buying the full version a few years ago, when I was doing comic work, so I could save character heads and be able to position them, even change their expressions. But it's marketed to 3d game designers and is therefore too expensive for a hobbyist. But it's so fun to play with...the demo can be a real time waster.

I booked this a while back when one of our clients had a prototype of their hotel franchise built in Second Life for some reason. (Why do you need a hotel in a world where there is no rain, and no one gets tired, and no one need to use the bathroom? ) http://www.3pointd.com/20060929/simple-sketchup-to-second-life-exporter/ I'm afraid that I haven't pursued it farther than that, but perhaps the linked application is what you are looking for. --Lewis [Lewis Wadsworth]

Studio setups are useful when u have to render objects so that it looks like those pictures u find in the magazines! u can find a Studio setup http://www.kerkythea.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3017&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 its meant for Kerkythea... but i am sure podium can also benefit from it.
