Second life export

Does somebody know anything about second life en export ?

You mean from SU to SL? Often requested, often explained, why it would be such a pain to write an exporter for that. YES, I KNOW there is a kind of proof of concept, but it's too simple for really prove.

My limited investigation showed a definite lack of information on what is necessary for the import data for SL. Querying the SU data is a breeze. It's getting it into a useful form that is the challenge, and I can't do that until I know what that "useful form" is...

SL is now open source I believe, or will be soon at any rate.

I booked this a while back when one of our clients had a prototype of their hotel franchise built in Second Life for some reason. (Why do you need a hotel in a world where there is no rain, and no one gets tired, and no one need to use the bathroom? )

I'm afraid that I haven't pursued it farther than that, but perhaps the linked application is what you are looking for.
