360 video for facebook
Hello Guys! I encounter some problem again... Not sure this is the right forum i should post my question. If I put it in a wrong forum please let me know.
Recently I am learning to put up 360 design like the following page. The following is my page in round.me
I have render the image in resolution 6000px x 3000px and I can upload to the website then the 360 view point can be generated automatically.
I saw that the 360 video can actually can put on Facebook. I would like to ask if I can make use of the still jpg image to compile a 360 video and let me upload to facebook?
Thanks in advance for your viewing and comments.

RE: Chair Modelling
Thanks.
However I am only doing this job with such modelling. I would like to use some other free tools to make the job.
Did you use Blender for similar kind of work? Can I use Blender to get the result?
Thank you very much.

Chair Modelling
Hello,
I was doing a modelling of a chair. This consist of a round top and timber legs. The timber part is straightforward so I could do it easily with sketchup. When it comes to the round part, I had no clue on how to start with the modelling of such round part. I gave up eventually and just chose to cut and paste the round part from some other images which are already availableCan anyone advise me what should I do to model the round part? I guess I might need some plugin but do not know which one is more appropriate.
Thanks.

RE: Dimensioning with both mm and inch
Hi guys, thank you very much for your prompt response. I prefer not to do it in layout because very often this kind of plan drawings would change very often and it will not be easy to use sketchup then Layout to do changes. I do love the idea of having the duel dimensions. Let me try it out and see which suits me best.
Thanks again.

Dimensioning with both mm and inch
Recently I was requested by my client to put both mm and inch as the unit for all the dimensions. I tried to find some way to do it but eventually what I did is to use mm as the model unit and type all units in inch with 3D text. It works but of course it is not efficient. I just wonder if anyone knows how can I do it better? I am enclosing an image of my work here for your reference. Thanks!

RE: Messy Hatch in Layout
Oh ya, my content is quite far from the origin. I did not purposely do it but just randomly develop this drawings from some old drawing. Thanks for giving me the advice.
I have the 2014 package with me, but when I model in Sketchup I prefer using Sketchup 8 as it is more handy and I have less plugin with it, which can make my computer faster.
Thank you very much!

Messy Hatch in Layout
I have been trying to draft some interior elevation for a residential flat. When I was trying to apply a pattern to an area, it appears fine. But when it is linked to Layout, the pattern become messy. Does anyone know why? I have been trying to use different method to fix this but no luck...

Mirror Rendering
Hi all, i have my model done in sketchup and have it exported to kerkythea for rendering. I m doing a design of a toilet and i have put a mirror in it. In kerkythea I have set this mirror as dielectric glass and it gives a fairly good results in reflecting the other side of the toilet. However, i do not know why there is always a round patch at the middle of the mirror. I am not sure if i have set the mirror property wrongly.
I have attached an image of my rendering at the corner of the mirror. You can see the round patch there.
Can anyone give me some suggestion on this?
Thanks in advance.
