Alternatives to D5 Render - Poor Customer Service
-
Does anyone have any experiencing crossing over from D5 Render to Twinmotion? Someone commented that my D5 renders look a lot like Alternatives to D5 Render.
The reason I'm asking is because D5 Render has gone back to being an unstable rendering platform prone to frequent and random crashes. At the same time their customer service is close to non-existent and below par and what one should expect from a so called professional rendering software.
I realize that the learning curve at this point would be a challenge. Perhaps I'm just venting. I am certainly not at all happy with D5's customer service.

Blender would by my suggestion.
Steep learning curve but tons of knowledge out there to learn from.

I must admit I have acquired a couple of blender books for learning V5, lots of add on's and what looks from the outside to be a deep talent. Yep, not managed it so far but this time taking it more seriously. Still going to hammer on the Sketchup nail though.
Have you thought about Rayscaper? -
I'm biased, but Rayscaper? Curious to hear from an experienced user what the gaps are to get people like you hooked.
IIRC, you were also experimenting with AI rendering. What are the gaps there for not making it a complete replacement for D5 render?
