The base model here is a Modo asset. I have a look around to see where I can find a 'challenge' and see what I can come up with. The basic room reminded me of a room in a house where I was a small child.
There is no fireplace in the Modo asset, or furniture, I just add stuff slowly to see if a scene can be made.

The setting came from looking at the fire and wanting a contrast in the scene outside the room, cold outside but warm inside. You can find the exr image here:- https://polyhaven.com/a/snowy_park_01

So, a 'folly' if you like.

Wanted a mantle clock but have not got the energy to create one from scratch as I usually do. Later in the week perhaps.

Just to clarify, most models I show here are mine and mine alone. I am particularly fond of small dwellings and student accomodation.

I lived in some crap spaces as I am sure most have and would like to investigate these small places with a bit of respect towards those who would reside in them.

I went to the Mido site and the product sure looks interesting. However I saw that they are discontinuing support. I also could not see anything about the cost of the software.

Can you share any information about it?

Modo itself is gone, or will be by the end of 2025 and sales are I think done now. I think they are going in another direction, production etc.

A lot of the max foles for download will have .fbx files in the package which can be imported by Blender. They also have some pretty decent textures, sometimes even ,hdri.

Got that but, when the reply is a lot more than the six letters it seems like a ladybug. Possbily nothing of consequence as I have posted since and not had the issue.
