It's really disappointing that it's now paid, because the download for the original V1 of the extension seems to be gone
And that's a my-go to UV mapping texture extension for my maps.
Can I please get a download for V1, since I'm from Brazil and it seems quite expensive to me? Thank you.

Just remove ThruPaint2 from your plugin environment. Then, if you have FredoTools installed, the old version ThruPaint v1 will be available.

For the geometry it does tags with selecting no materials, but this function doesn't work for objects - for objects it does tags only if you select a material (at least the default material).
I've tried all the versions and is the same problem.

I found the bug, but it's not easy to fix.
Actually, I am thinking now to make the tag painting a separate tool within ThruPaint. I don't think users would want to mix painting and tagging in the same tool.

This function would be very useful, because as far as I know there is no tool that can do tags by penetrating across nested groups and components.

@FlorinAp Correction, there is a tool from VBO, but is not a one-click tool, because it offers the option of choosing the level of nesting - it is a good option, but I don't need that option and I prefer a one-click tool.

The material browser has stopped working for me. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling ThruPaint a couple of times now.

ThruPaint works as expected, except the Material Browser function never appears when clicking on the button in the UI toolbar.

Any ideas?

Can you open the Ruby Console to catch potential errors ?

Also, the Material Browser is automatically shown the first time you launch ThruPaint. But then, ThruPaint only opens with the palette buttons on subsequent launches. Click on the colored button on the right to invoke the Material Browser.

@fredo6 The material browser has worked in the past. It just now no longer opens when I click the 3x3 grid button.
