Still just starting out with Maxwell but struggling a bit with new methods etc. I have an HDRI but no show in the render, glass is grouped and treated as per instructions. I have used an EV setting for F stop and shutter speed and film is Agfacolour Futura 400.

First or second render with Maxwell? Looks pretty damn good if so!

          😍 Bryan is right ❗
Do you use the SkUp-plugin version or is it any Stand Alone Thing? I'm not familiar with Maxwell...

When you say that there's no HDR in the glass do you mean that there is no HDR showing as the background?

If so does Maxwell have a setting for using the HDR to cast light only and not be a background plate?

In Thea a HDR can cast light only, light/background or light/background/reflection. So I would take an uneducated guess and say Maxwell is using it's own sky as the background and the HDR for the lighting.

But to follow on from Bryan. That is a very nice first render πŸ‘

Thanks Rich, I am sure there is something I am missing but I will get there. The hdri is present but cannot be seen through the glass, yet.
