      Hi Dave.

That is what I have done with all my existing textures. The problem was that the last time I made textures was when I was using either SketchUp 5 or 6 when I first started using SketchUp. I have not had the necessity to make new textures until now and could not remember what the procedure was.

I also do not like having to constantly adjust the textures to suit the drawing, beside having to adjust the register on the texture for starting points or the lining up of tiles on a roof surface.

      Regards

      Mike

You shouldn't have to adjust the size of the texture after you've set it the first time. Are you saving the textures to a library before setting their dimensions?

          Hi Dave

I was, that's why I asked for help in scaling. Now that I have been reminded how to do it,
I have gone into all the new textures that I had created (about 10) scaled them and saved them.

          Regards
          Mike

              Hi Dave

              Off Topic.

I first joined the SketchUcation forum on 17.04.2008. Since then my service provider changed and I forgot my login and password, hadn't needed to login for a long, long time.
How do I correct my details. I have just found the original email with my login and password. Originally registered as Mike Backler on planpro@iburst.co.za. Been using SketchUp since 2001/2, the earliest reference that I can find is the SketchUpDate newsletter of March 2003. My email records do not go back any further.

              Regards

              Mike

Mike, do you want to go back to using the "Mike Backler" username? If so, I think you should just be able to log in with that one instead. I don't think I can do anything to your current profile to make it look like your old one but maybe Rich can do so.

Where are the image files used for SU materials stored? Actually, I've managed to delete one of my Water Materials (rocky stream bottom one). Where can download original SU material files?

You should find the OEM materials in C:/Program Data/SketchUp/SketchUp2017/SketchUp/Materials. If you are still using SketchUp 2016I as your profile indicates the materials will be in C:/Program Files/SketchUp/SketchUp 2016/Materials.

If you deleted one of them, though, you can replace it. You could do that by reinstalling SketchUp or by getting the SKM file from someone else. Which one is it that you are missing? I could upload it.

You will probably need to change permissions for the appropriate location to be able to add to the folder.
