I have a model with lots of faces (less than a hundred) which i need to jointly extrude. i run Joint-push-pull and while the preview is almost real-time, the process took so long to complete. But when I wanted to undo the command (which is supposed to be one command). It simply wont undo and therefore messing up my geometry. Wish there's a better way to do this.

I think if you found a limitation or error in using JPP you should probably mention it in the JPP thread so Fredo can respond to it.

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp 📖

Also make sure you have the Outliner window hidden or shut down before you use JPP. It will slow down JPP to a crawl if open.

Well, difficult to tell without seeing the model and having something reproducible.
In any case, this is not intended and would be a bug
