It's a plugin Cotty, one I always use.
It's ancestry is a bit muddled, but you'll find it in the store as Soften/Unsoften by CadFather.
I'm very happy to point it out for you as a thankyou for showing me Anton's Fixit101 a long time back.

I do, but it's pretty simple. I can add it later, if you really want it, as it's at home and I'm now in the pub.

No, by using quad face tools I easily selected the edges to create the various faces and manually painted them with the old bucket. So the colours are actual geometry.

To be honest, as I have no real interest in rendering, it's not high on my list, but if you want a non visualiser to have a go with it I'm all for it.
