Very smart. 3D printing really must have completely disrupted the mini-model market. Never really thought about until I saw your trains.

The cost to print vs buying a kit must be an order of magnitude cheaper.

Are you home printing or order 3D prints online?

jo-ke. With this sort of project you are indeed the Mr Kipling of render/build. You make exceedingly good (Cake) projects.

                  Thank you.

A friend of mine, working at the Tramway company is printing it for me.

I think the complete workflow will change.

this took me less than one minute... look at the consistance of the details of my model!!

Prompt: "Generate an image of a tramway, driving on tracks in a landscape between Mannheim and Heidelberg in Germany, keep geometrie"

                          SU to nano banana:

Have you tried motion blur prompts or adding seated passengers?

Maybe a prompt to add very subtle weathering to the model.

The shadowing across the grass is very good as is the AO between tracks and train.

That's very convincing. Even the fresnel effect looks good.

Doesn't look like a render and to be honest if you said it was a photo I wouldn't 2nd guess it.
