Considering SketchUp runs on a PS2 game dev engine might be time to rewrite from scratch.

Finally an OS 10. MS is trying to catch up. Will they use "X" or give the releases special names? Cats is done. Maybe dogs?

also, it might quiet a swath of apple haters complaining "oh oh.. osx is trying to be too much like ios "
as if that type of integration will do more bad than good.

I read it and I interpreted it as being free inside the 1st year of its release, nothing is mentioned about a subscription.

nope don't worry. free for the first year, then its back to the standard model, (as now, pay to install), no subs needed.

Good question.

Ditching webdialogs would put me in a somewhat bad mood, since invested so much time (and code) in dealing with them.

It would break many plugins, that's for sure.

i imagine it may take quite some time to get it really usable (or to lessen the size/requirement of the headset ) but still..

Intriguing idea but way beyond what I use a PC for.
