Missing "More Info"
-
I installed the latest version of SketchUcation Plugin Store
& I still don't get a response. I've got a laptop & a desktop CPU.
I get the response on my laptop but not on my desktop.
Thanks Dave, when I require info, I'll get it on my laptop.

Mike, it is a certainly an odd thing because it should work--and does on one of your machines. Does anything happen when you try to get more info while the Ruby Console is open?
-
I'm fairly new at this, & I don't know
what "While Ruby Console is open" means. -
Go to the SketchUp Window menu and select Ruby Console. That will open the console window. Move the console window to one side and open the SCF Plugin Store. Click on a More Info button and look to see if any message gets written in the console. Actually watch for any messages that might appear there when you start the Plugin Store or click on anything. Copy and paste here any text that might appear in the console.
-
Dave, I did all that & no messages appeared in
the Ruby Console window. -
You must be holding your mouth wrong or something. Try doing it while standing on your head
This is very weird. What version of Windows and IE do you have on that machine? I hope in the morning one of the gurus like TIG will come along or maybe Gabor.

Windows 7 Home Premium & Internet Explorer v.11

There are some plugins where the plugin authors neither gave a "More info" link nor filled out their plugin "Overview" detiails. In these cases the "More info" button leads nowhere. I'll fix it ASAP in a way that in these cases "More info" button won't show up.
Sorry for the delayed answer. I've noticed this thread just now.
-
Done.
Now the "More" info button shows up only for those plugins what have either a link to a topic or it's details are filled out by the author.
If you can still find button with no link, please let me know the exact name of that plugin so I can investigate the case. -
Thank you for doing that, Gábor.

I've just tried to get "More info" & it will not work
with any of them. I went to Control Panel & used Uninstall,
then pressed the Repair button. That didn't work either.
I must have something wrong with my computer, however I
will live without it.
Thanks very much for your efforts.
Dave & Gabor. -
What were you trying to uninstall/repair?

I was trying to uninstall/repair SketchUp 2013 & 2014.
I also cheked if Java Script was enabled, it was. -
Greetings,
I have the same issue on one of the two machines Both of them runs the same plugins and SU version 2023.1.340 (last one).
On one machine there is no button INFO within Sketchucation Tools (dame the latest version of the plugin).Bizarre.
I would appreciate any elucidation.
Thank youAttached-please find a picture - the only button present is that in the middle.

It would help if you'd show which extensions don't have a More Info button. All of the ones in your screenshot appear to have them.
-
Pull the side of the dialog to make it slightly wider and up to three buttons per line should appear...
This change should be remembered across sessions... -

Indeed pulling the window side make all the content visible. -
