How can i make Sketchup Vray with Section Animation

Like my title above, How can i make Sketchup Vray with Section Animation?
If i render with section panel, vray can't read the section panel as a section.

than, im student and want to give structure section animation. how can i do it?

The work around I used was making multiple copies of areas and using layers and the slice tool to use true sections in animation.

Make around 480 sections cut for 20 seconds animation?

I'm not familiar with your project so I can't really say. But animation has long been a process. I think the new Thea does it though.

It's on our todo list, but it's not in the 2.0 version. There is a bit of work we need to do behind the scenes to get section cuts to work properly.

You will not be able to animate a section like this in the current version. I would consider one of two things. Pick another engine that will do it (learning curve) or just do it through SketchUp without having it rendered through V-Ray (easiest option).

Do you have an ETA for v3.0?
Or even a range? 6-12 months? 2-3 years? 4-6years?

nah, we just did planning for it last week, we are much too far away from that to say any rough dates. First there will be a service release, then we will be working on 3.0 I believe.
