Just a question, can you tell us anything about what your main areas of responsibility at Trimble will be?

It is exciting to see people you know are in love with SketchUp for years, being selected for developing it in the future. It is very good move by Trimble which will have lot of fruits for sure. And it is exciting for me to actually know who is behind my favorite peace of software. Congratulations TT and good luck!

Like Pete, I had a feeling this would happen. A really good sense of where Trimble is heading, by the quality folks they are adding.

Man, I just discovered this post. And, like Chris Fullmer, you managed to pull my leg. With your anouncement of quitting your job and ..... less SketchUp. For a momemt I felt bad about the news, only to then discover the great news in the rest of the post. It´s a superb move by Trimble to get you on board. Congratulations to you and the SketchUp team.

I am really happy for you but also for us.
your hiring is one more sign that Trimble means well for Sketchup. in a short period of time they have given us more indications that Sketchup has a future than Google in years.
but also congratulations on getting rid of the grinding routine of a large architectural office. I am doubtful that anyone save the bosses can be happy in that atmosphere.
