[Plugin][$] TopoShaper - v2.7a - 01 Apr 24

Hi Fredo, I have a couple questions\requests(?), may be you could kindly help:
How would I:
1.precisely respect given contours (see the red clouds in attachment)
2.predictably set the grid direction (could toposhaper respect the current UCS, including grid origin point would start at current x=0,y=0,z=0?)
3.is there specific reason for minimum number of 20 cells? Setting (alternatively) the grid's physical dimentions would be nice too).
Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance. On 1), respecting contours, this is difficult and would not give smooth results. What I can maybe do is 'almost' respect 'some' contours.
On 2), it would be fairly possible to set the origin and orientation of the grid. This is just GUI to add.
on 3), you can already enter the cell dimensions. just type them as float (for current unit) or float + unit. architectural unique are accepted. This works in the VCB and in the dialog boxes. Otherwise, there is a minimum limit to the grid size, because otherwise you would not see anything.

Fredo, thank you for clarification
and hoping for p.2 will come true in some up-coming point update. -
Hi Fredo,
Tried using the plugin, it allows me to select and then quickly flashes the cleansing screen and generates a flat rectangular surface and contours as guidelines.
I have installed as instructed.
Am i missing something

SridharThe default view for the Cleansing is the map view. Are your original contours given an elevation?
The best would be to post your model

I have the same problem.
The rod of Topshaper tools also disappears to this level.
No message of mistake in the Ruby console.
This problem even occurs with the well stocked examples. -

Could check that if you type Return, you go to the next step (preview). You can also check the contextual menu.
By the way, which OS are you on?
Fredo
OS :
PC windows 7 - sketchup 8 pro last version-No action occurs with the key return
the contextual menu "toposhaper --- > generate land (square maillage)" makes the previous operation throw back only.
the toposhaper toolbar doesn't reappear.
excuse me for the bad english language (french user....)
best regards and thank you for your superb plugins... -
Great plugin love it!

Open the Ruby Console.
Then try running the tool.
Report any error messages. Also check your Plugins folder's Properties > Security permissions are set to FULL for everyone in the list [Edit + Apply/OK]
If not this might stop some log file etc getting written if you have limited rights...Hi TIG, sorry for the tardy reply, I didn't get a notification of the replies on this thread..
I checked permissions on the plugin folder; all full control so no issues there.
Re-ran the plugin with the ruby script window open.. Same issue as before, this time using one of the sample files
Screen shot attached to explain.

Have you tried reinstalling the whole Topo'toolset AND the latest LibFredo again.
That might jolt it into submission...
First, if you did a manual install check for misplaced files in the Plugins folder.
Then reinstall the Lib, then Topo'toolset - I recommend you get/use the "SketchUcation Plugin Store" and use its 'AutoInstall' feature, this will ensure that everything is always put into the right places... -

All is installed correctly with the good rights and with the last libraries.
No error in the ruby console !!!! -
Can you post screenshots for Fredo to check...
Of the Plugins folder showing the installed files/subfolder and the contents of the subfolder itself...

Chris,
I mean when you are within TopoShaper and have the display of your screenshot, right click and tell me what is the contextual menu.
