I myself didn't attend it so I didn't know it. Anyway I must watch those YouTube videos on Basecamp 2012 also from other reasons. I've already noticed Daniel Tal and Nick Sonder having their presentation during it. That might be worthy watching.

Yes there were some presentations that were recorded, however the others were not unlike the basecamp before where every presentation was recorded and documented the last Base camp did not, I do not believe it was intentional but rather due to lack of time to set up, it was all put together fast as this was more of a meet the Trimble's kind of thing. I'm sure the next one will be like 2010, maybe even the same veune (me hopes as it was close to the pub).

September? Did they say that? I didn't pick up on any month. :s
A bit strange to name the product 2013 if it appear in late 2013 - in which case it'd make more sense to use the Autodesk naming, releasing 2014 version in 2013. -
The September part I assumed, think about it for a moment, they will coincide a new release with a base camp, base camps are around that time, so September sounds about right.
So best advice, when you hear about a base camp, that first day will be the new release...bank it!

After having watched available videos on Basecamp 2012 I can confirm that those presentations are rather poorly recorded but I was glad to hear that SketchUp is going to be released annually, contrary to until now random releases. After all, the SketchUp story seems to will be going on and on. In the good direction, I hope.
