I was actually looking at i-materialise ceramic printing last night, looks great.

Did you have to enlarge/modify your model to compensate for 2mm radii on the edges?

I used shapeways. It cost 30 Euro incl. shipping. (It is ca. 7cm tall)

I used the raw STL-export without any modifications for the upload. You can see the STL-mesh attached.

Ceramic 3d printing you say...gives me an idea of something that will sell very well in Colorado.

Does any advantage to subdivise "Flat surfaces" ?
for example here all the bottom part

Yes, from some angles you can see the stretching in renders. I would use 2 more loops.

Yes, it gives a nicer (more regular) mesh:
