Bonjour Fredo,
Merci pour cette mise à jour rapide et efficace.
Je viens de tester sur SU19 et SU20, et tout est rentré dans l'ordre, parfait. -
Hello Fredo,
is it possible to do the same with length as ReportLabelArea does with faces.Volker

You need to tell which length...length of edges, length of object bounding boxes, ...

I am interested in the length of edges. The goal is to add up these lengths by layers. That would be wonderful.

First things first. FredoTools aren't supposed to show up in the Extension menu. They are supposed to show up in the Tools menu. Did you look there? Also did you restart SketchUp after installing the extensions?
There's also a toolbar that can be made visible via View>Toolbars.

I am assuming that this is not a version that can be used on SU2020 even though it shows as compatible with 2020.
Not so. FredoTools work just fine in SketchUp 2020. Here is a screen shot from SU2020 showing the menu.
Out of curiosity, when you installed SketchUp 2020, did you right click on the downloaded installer file and choose Run as administrator? BTW, maybe you could update your profile. It still shows you are using SU2017.

I loaded the FredoTools-v3.8c this morning in my SketchUp Pro along with the required library. I have tried to add the tools to the program about ten times now and it is showing up in the extension manager as installed and activated. Unfortunately it is not in my extension menu and I cannot access the tools. When I look at the details for the tools on the extension manager I can see that it is signed but there is no other information in the details. I am assuming that this is not a version that can be used on SU2020 even though it shows as compatible with 2020. What is the issue?
OK I should have used the word tools instead of extensions. However the program is not in the tools menu. I did restart the SU2020 when I did the install and nothing appeared in my tools menu. I am uploading a screen shot so you can see what I have

If I generate area report, it shows all areas on the plugin screen but if I export to CSV it gives me an error and only shows the information of one of the entities.
How can I fix the mistake?

Thanks!
This is an example of what was happening.I re-installed sketchup and the plugin without success, I was using SketchUp2019. Yesterday I upgraded my license to SketchUp2020 and the problem was fixed.

Could you post or PM me the model so that I have a closer look.
Thanks

This is a known problem with SU2020, not specific to my plugins.
Apparently, the installation of SU2020 'forgets' to register itself to Internet Explorer and as a result, it does not display the SVG graphics. Not even sure this is fixed with a new installation.
See this post for a kind of fix.

P: Are you still on SU8, as indicated in your profile?

Please note that I do not support evolution for my plugins for versions prior to SU2017 (so up to SU2016). This is due to a change of policy in the releasing of extension by Trimble.
For convenience, I kept the legacy versions in this place.

Thanks, I was hoping to get a link to the prior version - much appreciated.
